I'm Michalina Bielawska. As a kid, my favorite toy was a kaleidoscope — I'm 90s to the bone, and glitter runs in my veins.
Handmade in Poland. Ypsilonbags started with a chance encounter: I was working at a wholesale office supplies store when I found a roll of vinyl and made myself a handbag out of it. Friends loved it, and I saw a way to save up for the car I wanted — a Lancia Ypsilon. That's where the name comes from.
Every piece is still cut, glued and finished by me, personally, using high-quality phthalate-free vinyl — because fashion should be fun, a little nostalgic and unmistakably handmade, never generic.
Off the workbench I'm a runner, a rock climber and a pole dancer, and I'm a wife and mother — my boxer dog Roki keeps our house properly loud. Juggling all of it is where I find the energy to keep making.
